Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to deliver technical data support for Actuarial financial data systems and data marts. You will lead the identification of business requirements and deliver solutions enabling accurate financial data for multiple business areas.

You will develop complex data solutions, run monthly refreshes and QA, and mentor peers while coordinating with vendors and interfacing with senior executives on impact and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree, where required.
• 8+ years of experience in related fields.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex data solutions, data extracts, reports, and data marts across full development life cycle.
• Perform monthly data refreshes, validations, automations, and QA checks for executive reporting.
• Lead maintenance and optimization of Actuarial Systems Data Marts.
• Coordinate data definitions, file structures, and business rules across areas.
• Analyze challenges, implement solutions, and communicate actions and impacts.
• Build vendor and interdepartmental relationships to ensure data accuracy.
