Blue Cross NC is seeking an Actuarial Associate to join our Commercial Reserving team, building actuarial expertise while supporting reserve valuation, forecasts, and pricing decisions.

Under supervision of experienced actuaries, you will analyze data, collaborate across networks, underwriting, and finance, and contribute to health program analytics and business insights.

This role emphasizes development through the Actuarial Development Program and a hybrid work model with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in related field.
• Enrolled in actuarial student program pursuing ASA designation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes financial, statistical and mathematical data and performs actuarial calculations.
• Assists in rate studies, reserves and cash flow projections.
• Supports in pricing, actuarial research and experience studies.
• Retrieves and validates data for rate filings and models; assists in model enhancements.
• Distributes reports and responds to inquiries.
• Participates in the Actuarial Development Program.
