Blue Cross NC is seeking an Actuarial Associate to contribute to reserve valuation, financial forecasting, and rate/policy analytics. You will work with cross-functional teams to support health programs and business decisions.

Under guidance of seasoned actuaries, you’ll apply mathematical and statistical methods while pursuing actuarial credentials. The role offers a Hybrid Flex work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree and enrollment in actuarial student program.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Committed to SOA education and pursuing ASA designation.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial and mathematical data and performs actuarial calculations.
• Assists in pricing, reserves and cash flow projections.
• Supports rate studies and actuarial research.
• Provides analytic support to senior actuaries and cross-functional teams.
