Blue Cross NC is seeking an Actuarial Associate to join the Commercial Reserving team. You will apply mathematics, statistics, and business principles to support reserve valuation, financial forecasting, and pricing activities, while collaborating across networks, underwriting, and finance.

You will work under experienced actuaries, develop actuarial skills, and participate in the Actuarial Development Program as part of a team focused on health program analytics and strategic decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in related field.
• Enrolled in the actuarial student program and committed to attaining the ASA designation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze financial, statistical and mathematical data and perform actuarial calculations.
• Assist in pricing, reserves and cash flow projections.
• Support rate studies to determine rate adequacy.
• Contribute to actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses.
• Provide support to senior actuaries as needed.
• Data retrieval and validation for rate filings and models; help build model enhancements.
• Distribute reports and respond to inquiries.
• Investigate trends and anomalies.
• Support Enterprise Risk Management initiatives.
• Support analytics for corporate projects.
