Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD.
• Major/program must align with internship role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Must not require visa sponsorship.
• Available for a 10–14 week summer internship starting in mid to late May and ending in August.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of actuarial data for pricing, reserving, and financial reporting.
• Help develop and maintain actuarial models and tools.
• Conduct analysis on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Develop an understanding of the business, corporate culture and structure to support the work.
• Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and interpret data for multiple projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on actuarial methodologies and best practices.
• Work with a particular actuarial team, receive mentorship from another team, and attend trainings from all areas of the business.
