Ideal candidates are pursuing an Actuarial Science degree, have SOA exam progress, and demonstrate strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field
• Completion of 1-2 SOA exams preferred
• Superior communication, programming and math skills
• Experience using Excel, VBA and/or other programming languages
• Leadership experience a plus
• Preference will be given to candidates that also have the following: Previous actuarial internship experience, Successful completion of at least one SOA exam, Programming or database management experience
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of financial reports, memorandums and other required actuarial supporting analyses
• Analyze annuity and life insurance products
• Participate in the development and pricing of new products
• Prepare financial statements
• Hedge investments
• Produce analysis and reports for senior leaders
• Perform Excel spreadsheet automation and develop complex financial models
• Use artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
