Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA is seeking an Actuarial and Analytics Business Analyst to support product development, financial analysis, and management reporting from Worcester or remote locations.

The role requires 3+ years of Property/Casualty actuarial/analytics experience, a strong quantitative background, and proficiency with desktop tools. You will analyze pricing, reserving, and profitability, and present findings to management and business partners.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of actuarial and/or analytics experience in Property/Casualty.
• Strong quantitative background.
• Familiar with property/casualty rate making and reserving concepts.
• Proficient with desktop applications and software tools.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to communicate results clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, reserving, or corporate profitability and capital management data.
• Prepare and present actuarial and/or analytics findings to management and business partners.
• Monitor ISO, NCCI filings, and SOX compliance; recommend actions.
• Maintain pricing, reserving, or corporate capital management systems.
• Extract and integrate data from databases to develop reports and spreadsheets.
• Design and prepare special reports and data compilations as requested.
