Job summary

Milliman is seeking an Actuarial Analyst for the Atlantic Region P&C practice with offices in Boston, MA, and Burlington, VT. The role focuses on autonomous analyses, data manipulation in Excel, and potential programming work.

You will contribute to pricing, reserving, and predictive modeling projects for NA/Europe clients. Applicants should have 2 actuarial exams, a bachelor’s degree, strong Excel/Word skills, and be pursuing CAS credentials.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed at application time, pursuing CAS Associate credential.
• Up to two years actuarial full-time experience in pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, capital modeling, ERM, or reinsurance.
• Bachelor’s degree completed with quantitative coursework.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with tools such as @Risk, VBA, Python, SAS, STATA is valued.

Responsibilities

• Execute analyses for ongoing projects with high-quality output.
• Perform complex data manipulation and summarization in Excel; programming skills are valued.
• Communicate results and recommendations clearly to clients and team members.
• Pursue actuarial credentials (CAS) with support from Milliman.
