Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Greer, SC is hiring an Activity/Member Assistant to support elderly and young adults in a caring, engaging setting. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends.

You will assist with activities, provide ADL support, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality. The role offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days,Paid time off after 30 days, and a friendly team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with elderly/disabled preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in implementing engaging activities (arts, crafts, music, games, education).
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL) to members as needed.
• Engage members to foster a positive, interactive environment.
• Set up and clean activity areas to maintain a safe, organized space.
• Redirect behaviors to support a respectful atmosphere.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Activity Director in implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands‑on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing as needed
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
