About Us:

Rising Light Ridge is a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation and will be a fully accessible recreational, learning, and ministry campus. Rising Light Ridge will provide a community of belonging where participants of all backgrounds and abilities and their families can experience Faith, Hope and Love and grow in Christ. Our programming is designed to foster peer-to-peer relationships that inform, serve, and challenge one another.

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and safety minded camp activity specialist/challenge course staff member to lead games and activities and provide oversight of challenge course operations. While creating a high energy environment, this role will be responsible for supervision and facilitation of the challenge course, ensuring the safety of all participants, and assisting campers to engage and participate in activities. This applicant must be at least 18 years of age and be available for the entire the summer camp season.

Position Type: Seasonal

Weekly camp Schedule: Sunday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead activities and assist campers to engage and participate.

· Create a high energy and safe environment.

· Provide oversight of challenge course operations and ensure the safety of all participants.

· Take appropriate and prudent action in emergency situations.

· Assist in other areas outside of games, activities and challenge course as needed at the direction of the Program Director.

Qualifications and Certifications

· CPR and First aid certifications.

· Typical work schedule runs from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift and carry 40-50 lb. Ability to push, pull, twist, and turn in a safe manner. Ability to stand for at least 4 hours, walk and run on uneven terrain, and assist participants as needed.
