Job Title: Admissions Advisor
Department: American Sentinel College of Nursing & Health Sciences
Reports to: Assistant Director Admissions and Team Lead
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Overall Purpose of the Job:

Under the guidance of the Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions, and the Team Lead, the Admissions Advisor is responsible for ethically advising students regarding enrollment, working within the institution's standards and guidelines.

Duties:
  1. Conduct interviews via phone, email, or text to qualify candidates, present program features and benefits, and prepare students to start courses.
  2. Uphold high standards of ethics and honesty when providing information on educational programs, costs, and payment options.
  3. Address student concerns and assist with their transition into school.
  4. Clearly communicate the responsibilities of students for successful enrollment, engagement, and graduation.
  5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the institution's catalog and website to explain course offerings and help select suitable programs.
  6. Understand and explain tuition financing options, including in-house financing, military, and employer reimbursement.
  7. Explain student responsibilities and basic program eligibility requirements.
  8. Coordinate with other departments to meet individual student needs.
  9. Solicit referrals from prospective students.
  10. Participate actively as a team player.
  11. Respond promptly to all student inquiries to provide excellent customer service.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent; experience in admissions counseling or inside sales is a plus.
