Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to bring meaningful moments to residents. You will help plan and lead recreational activities that encourage socialization, creativity, and well-being, creating a vibrant, home-like atmosphere.

This full-time day shift position includes every other weekend, competitive pay, benefits, PTO, and opportunities for career development. Training is available for motivated candidates who enjoy working with seniors and making a difference daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• A genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.
