Job summary

Complete Care in Brick Township is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to bring joy, engagement, and companionship to our residents. You will plan and assist with daily recreational activities that promote socialization, creativity, and overall well-being.

This part-time, day-shift role includes every other weekend. You’ll join a supportive team with competitive pay, benefits for eligible staff, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but training can be provided.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• A genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.
