Job summary

Complete Care offers an opportunity for an energetic Activity Aide who enjoys working with seniors and creating meaningful moments. You will help plan daily recreational and therapeutic activities, support residents, and collaborate with the Director of Activities to maintain a vibrant, caring community.

The role emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and reliable attendance, with full-time day shifts and benefits including insurance and PTO. Training is available for motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in long-term care/healthcare is preferred, but training is available.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and a strong team player.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs with the Director of Activities.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays and events.
• Prepare activity materials and keep spaces organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs for residents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications:
