Job summary

Apploi in Peoria, IL is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents, in line with assessments and care plans.

The role includes assisting with daily activities, preparing rooms, and promoting resident well-being through engagement, under supervision of the Activities Department. Patience and a cheerful attitude are essential in a long-term care setting.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
