Job summary

Complete Care at Marcella in Burlington, NJ seeks a compassionate Activity Aide to plan and lead engaging recreational programs that enhance socialization, creativity, and well-being for residents.

The role offers full-time hours, weekend rotation, and a supportive team focused on enriching lives daily. Training is available for motivated candidates who value teamwork and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in long‑term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care at Marcella for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications
