Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in activities management or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in recreation therapy or gerontology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the activities program.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation.
• Chart attendance and maintain accurate records; assist with one-on-one activities and transportation.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Obtain and maintain NCCAP Certification (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) and CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or COTA certification.
