Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a Maintenance Director for Westmont of Santa Cruz, a brand new assisted living and memory care community. The role requires leadership over building systems, safety compliance and preventative maintenance to keep a homelike, safe environment for residents.

You will manage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression and emergency systems, coordinate basic maintenance tasks, and ensure adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
