About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.

Responsibilities
  1. Planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents.
  2. Assisting the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events.
  3. Encouraging Residents to socialise more effectively and involving the care team in activities.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
  • Positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a natural ability to get along with people.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding

Recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect is essential. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns appropriately.
