The Gatesworth Communities is seeking an Activities Assistant (Life Enrichment) for our Skilled Nursing unit in St. Louis, MO. This Full-Time position offers $17.00/hour with weekends and holidays required.

Schedule includes Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:00pm with rotating weekends. Join our Life Enrichment team to plan engaging experiences that bring joy, purpose, and connection to residents. Paid training is provided and experience in customer service, childcare, recreation, or hospitality is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate, energetic, and dependable with a positive attitude.
• Previous senior living or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with group activities including games, crafts, music, exercise, celebrations, and special events.
• Visit residents one-on-one using activity carts to provide personalized engagement.
• Encourage participation while building meaningful relationships with residents.
• Assist residents throughout the community, including safely pushing wheelchairs as needed.
• Help set up and maintain activity areas and document resident participation.
• Occasionally assist with caring for facility animals as part of the activities program.
