Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living is hiring an Activity Assistant for part-time roles in St. Louis. You will support residents through engaging activities, games, and events, fostering independence and social interaction in a compassionate setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong communication skills, plus experience in event planning or senior living activities. Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends is available, with on-site work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience with event planning, recreational programming, or organizing activities preferred.
• Six months or more experience in a Senior Living setting preferred.

• Lead and assist with recreational activities, games, trivia, discussions, exercise classes, and special events.
• Encourage resident participation and create an inclusive, positive environment.
• Adapt activities to meet residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an Activity Assistant, you will help create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents. This position supports residents’ quality of life through group activities, special events, exercise, games, discussions, and one‑on‑one interactions.
