Job summary

Tampa Gardens Senior Living seeks a Temporary Activities Assistant to energize residents through diverse leisure programs. You will support the Activities Director in delivering activities that meet the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of our elderly community.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing events, leading group activities, sing-alongs, and exercise classes, and assisting with gardening and holiday decorations.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities with seniors (dementia or retirement community).
• Strong organization, planning, and ability to engage/re-direct seniors.
• Energetic and kind demeanor.
• Experience operating VCR, DVD, and stereo equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid certification required.
