Job summary

Meridian at Lake San Marcos is seeking a Part-time Activities Assistant (Memory care) to support residents with dementia through engaging activities and events, indoors and outdoors.

The role includes planning and implementing activities, promoting attendance at events, assisting with group activities, sing-alongs and exercise classes, and decorating for holidays. Candidates with memory care experience and First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities with seniors who have dementia or in a senior retirement community.
• Memory care experience.
• Great organization, planning, and engaging/re-directing seniors.
• Great energy and kindness.
• Operate a VCR, DVD, and stereo system.
• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certification.
