Job summary

Juniper is hiring an Activities Assistant to support the Connections program for residents, ensuring daily activities promote leisure, as well as physical and mental well-being.

You will enter resident information, participate in care plan meetings, collect profiles, and help develop the activity plan for the community. A High School Diploma is required, with a Bachelor's in a related field preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is also needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license (Required)
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult
• Certification in CPR and First Aid

Responsibilities

• Entering resident information in multiple systems
• Attending care plan meetings with families and residents
• Collecting resident profiles
• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community

Education
