Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a part-time Connections program assistant to help create, plan and implement daily activities for residents, ensuring leisure contentment and overall well-being.

You will collaborate with Wellness Associates and support residents' physical, mental, and emotional health during evening shifts from 12 pm to 8 pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare or service-related settings preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community.
• Work closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
