Job summary

Juniper Communities in Pennsylvania is hiring care aides/med techs to support residents with daily living and safety needs in a compassionate, hands-on environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with the care team to ensure responsive, person-centered care. This role offers full-time, part-time or PRN shifts, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Med Tech Certificate required.
• Caregiving experience of 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, transportation, appointments, phone use, dining, and participation in Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with the care team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Role:

Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.
