Job summary

Juniper Village at Devon is seeking a compassionate part-time member for the Connections team to help create, plan, and run daily activities for residents, supporting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

You will work 3 pm to 8 pm, weekends required, with a starting rate of $18 per hour, joining a diverse, inclusive culture that values mentorship and growth within the senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the Connections activity program.
• Collaborate with Wellness Associates to implement activities.

Role:

Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.


• Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred)


• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)


• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
