What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

  1. Making a difference in the lives of residents by providing care and compassion.
  2. Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees and assisting in onboarding new teammates.
  3. Encouraging residents to participate in daily activities to enhance their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  4. Using your passion for serving others to motivate residents to take an active part in their health and wellness.
  5. Planning activities based on residents' backgrounds, concerns, needs, and preferences.
  6. Recruiting, organizing, training, and recognizing volunteers to expand the activity program and maximize resident participation.
  7. Involving resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to promote active participation and well-being.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
  • CNA certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain CNA certification within six months of employment is necessary.
