What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
  1. Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassion.
  2. Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
  3. Encouraging residents to participate in daily activities, enhancing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  4. Using your passion for serving others to motivate all residents to take an active part in their own health and wellness.
  5. Carrying out activities for residents based on their backgrounds, concerns, needs, and preferences.
  6. Recruiting, organizing, training, and recognizing volunteers to expand and supplement the activity program, maximizing resident participation.
  7. Involving resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to increase overall engagement and well-being.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
  • CNA certification is preferred. Must be open to obtaining CNA certification within the first six months of employment.
