Aspen Point Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Activity Assistant to join our skilled nursing team in Missouri. You will plan and lead engaging programs to keep residents active, connected, and fulfilled, while supporting the Activity Director with logistics and documentation.

We value caring, energetic individuals who love working with older adults and can create a warm, inclusive environment. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred and certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Activity certification (preferred).
• Experience in long-term care (preferred).
• Experience leading recreational or social programs within the last five years (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and leading daily activity programs such as arts & crafts, games, music, exercise, educational sessions, religious services, and community outings.
• Encourage residents to participate in group and one-on-one activities.
• Help maintain accurate activity documentation (with training).
• Support the Activity Director with supply ordering, receipts, and monthly activity calendars.
• Maintain resident preference lists, precautions, and activity limitations.
• Help facilitate Resident Council meetings when needed.
• Participate in planning special events involving residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents.
