Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an Activity Assistant to encourage fun and creativity with our residents. You will work with the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities in our nursing home, with a varied schedule that includes every other weekend and some holidays.

• Ability to interact with a wide range of residents, including those with dementia or mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Set up, lead, and clean up group activities.
• Assist residents to and from group activities.
• Provide individual visits to residents choosing not to attend groups.
• Document resident participation and communicate needs to the care team.
