Job summary

The Greenhills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN seeks an Activity Assistant to support recreational programs for residents. Provide energetic, person-centered activities, coordinate schedules with other departments, and help with transport and communications to residents and families.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; weekend availability is required. Experience is preferred. Competitive benefits and daily pay are offered.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement group and individual activities per residents' care plans.
• Coordinate activity schedules with other departments and communicate programs to residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• Decorate bulletin boards and create engaging themes for activities.
• Assist in transporting residents within the center between activity areas.
• Lead group or 1:1 activities tailored to residents' preferences to maximize participation.
• Help residents with mail and paperwork; assist with documentation.
• Support community outings and related events.
