Job summary

Altercare Country Lawn in Navarre, Ohio is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role. You will coordinate and participate in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations, supporting the resident activity director as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience in a healthcare activities department, and a willingness to be trained for CNA duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
• CNA license is preferred, but we will train.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily activities to residents and assist with participation.
• Document daily activities and support the Activity Director with miscellaneous duties.
• Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature is a plus.
