Cloverleaf Health Care Center in Knightsville, IN, is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to support residents in a skilled nursing setting. This PRN role works under the Director of Activities to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging programs.

Responsibilities include meeting emotional and social needs, assisting with daily living tasks, maintaining attendance records, and helping with crafts and events. A friendly, reliable team player is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous long‑term care experience or experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as writing letters, making phone calls, and registering to vote.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance.
• Assist with mail delivery, escort residents to activity programs, care for plants/flowers and pets, prepare newsletters, and support fundraising and announcements.
• Implement activity programs that provide entertainment, communication, exercise, relaxation and creative expression as planned by the Activities Director.
• Provide craft supplies and supervise residents during activities.
• Encourage residents to explore their interests and creative potential through crafts and other programs.

Activities Assistant – PRN
Location: Cloverleaf Health Care Center – Knightsville, IN

Cloverleaf Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role works under the direction of the Director of Activities to support and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure residents’ emotional, recreational, and social needs are met on an individual basis

• Assist residents with normal activities of daily living such as writing letters, making phone calls, and registering to vote

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance

• Assist with mail delivery, escorting residents to activity programs, plant and flower care, pet and fish care, preparation of the monthly newsletter, fundraising efforts, and morning announcements over the P.A. system

• Implement activity programs that provide entertainment, communication, exercise, relaxation, and opportunities for creative expression as planned by the Activities Director

• Provide craft supplies, materials, and equipment and supervise residents during activities

• Encourage residents to explore their interests and creative potential through crafts, painting, and other recreational programs
