Job summary
Altercare in Navarre, Ohio is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident activity programming and daily engagement. You will assist in organizing individual and group activities, and help residents participate in events while communicating planned activities clearly.
Experience in healthcare activity settings is a plus; on-the-job training (STNA) is available. Join a dedicated team providing compassionate care and engaging programs for residents.

Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations and assists the resident activity director as needed.
Responsibility of communicating to residents the daily activities, helping residents to activities, doing daily documentation and helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.
Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
- STNA license is preferred, but we will train
