Job summary

Altercare Nobles Pond in Canton, OH is seeking a part-time Resident Activity Assistant to organize and participate in personalized activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations.

You will assist the resident activity director as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
• STNA license is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily activities to residents and assist with activities.
• Help residents participate in activities and document participation.
• Support the Activity Director with duties and miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications For Activities Assistant

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
• STNA license is preferred, but we will train

Responsibility of communicating to residents the daily activities, helping residents to activities, doing daily documentation and helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.

Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.
