A typical day for a Resident Programs Assistant includes:
· Assisting in the coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs to meet specific needs of our Residents
· Escorting Residents to and from activities
· Appropriately and descriptively charting Resident progress and behavior
· Making regular in-room visits to Residents either uninterested or unable to participate in Group activities
Resident Programs Assistant Requirements:
· High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
· Positive, energized Team Player
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
· High attention to detail and excellent at follow-up
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Previous experience/direct programming experience with older adults preferred
· Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
