Job summary

Park View Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team in Buffalo, MN. You will help residents stay informed, entertained, and engaged through structured and spontaneous activities.

This part-time position offers 8:00 am - 4:30 pm shifts on Thursday and Friday, a wage range of $17.39 - $18.73 per hour, and opportunities for growth within Cassia's supportive, resident-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an Assisted Living, Long Term Care, or Memory Care facility preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.

Responsibilities

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.
• Interact and assist residents on a one-to-one basis outside of structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Transport residents to and from activities on bus.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

As anActivities Assistant at Park View Assisted Living, you will conduct activities with our residents to help keep them informed, entertained, and engaged. We are looking for someone who is skilled at helping get residents out of their rooms for our exciting programs! Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available:
Days: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Thursday & Friday
Wage Range: $17.39 - $18.73 /hour depending on experience
Location: 613 Montrose Blvd, Buffalo, MN 55313
