Job summary

Lakeside Generations, a Cassia community, is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team and enhance resident engagement. This part‑time role offers meaningful work in a supportive setting where your contributions matter.

The position is 2 days a week with one weekend a month and rotating holidays, paying $19.09–$21.09 per hour, located at 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325. Join us to help residents enjoy enriching activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a senior care environment preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication and ability to give directions clearly.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities in individual and group settings.
• Interact with residents one-to-one outside structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

In this role, you will conduct fun and exciting activities with our residents. Our ideal candidate is self‑motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well‑being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude. We are seeking someone who are enthusiastic about driving our bus and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience for our passengers.

Position Type: Part‑Time, working 2 days a week with one weekend a month and rotating holidays included

Hours: Tuesdays/Thursdays 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Pay Range: $19.09 - $21.09 per hour depending on experience.

Location: 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities in individual and group settings.
• Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Activities Assistant Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a senior care environment preferred.
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule.
