Job summary

Lakeside Generations, a Cassia community, is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team in Dassel, MN. This part-time role offers 2 days a week, one weekend a month, and rotating holidays to fit a flexible schedule.

You will lead engaging activities for residents, support one-to-one interactions, document attendance, and act as a positive representative while upholding respect and high-quality care in our welcoming senior living community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a senior care environment preferred.
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities in individual and group settings.
• Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.

Lakeside Generations, a Cassia community, is hiring an Activities Assistant to join our team! If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity. In this role, you will conduct fun and exciting activities with our residents. Our ideal candidate is self‑motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well‑being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude. We are seeking someone who are enthusiastic about driving our bus and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience for our passengers.

Position Type: Part‑Time, working 2 days a week with one weekend a month and rotating holidays included

Hours: Tuesdays/Thursdays 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Pay Range: $19.09 - $21.09 per hour depending on experience.

Location: 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
