Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily living activities.
• Support with treatments as delegated by the RN per care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document services in charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with personal care and medications as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity.

Park View Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring dependable, compassionateCare Attendants to join our team! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.
As aCare Attendant at Park View Assisted Living you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. This is a permanent, year-round position and is not a seasonal role, making it ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Position Type:

Part-Time

Available Shifts (including every other weekend):

Days: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Evenings: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Wage Range:

$18.17 - $22.28 / hour depending on experience

Care Attendant Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Care Attendant Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Previous care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
