Job summary

Park View Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring dependable, compassionate Care Attendants to join our team. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.

No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. As a Care Attendant at Park View Assisted Living, you will support residents with ADLs, monitor health needs, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Previous care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document services on the charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care including bathing and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

As aCare Attendant at Park View Assisted Living,you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.This is a permanent, year-round position and is not a seasonal role, making it ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Wage Range

$18.17 - $22.28 / hour depending on experience

Care Attendant Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
