Job summary

The Rivers of Grosse Pointe Woods - Independent Living is seeking an Activities Aide (Part Time) to join a team dedicated to enriching residents' daily lives. You will coordinate life enrichment programs and support activity directors in delivering engaging events for seniors.

Responsibilities include leading activities, maintaining records, and ensuring residents' comfort and dignity while upholding quality service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• One year job-related experience preferred in senior living communities.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow team members.

Activities Aide - Part Time

Overview

As an Activities Aide, you will join other creative individuals in the coordination of life enrichment programs on a day to day basis for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining balanced resident-centered activities and life enrichment programs under supervision of the Activities Director
• Complete appropriate records indicating resident's attendance and participation in individual and group activities in a timely basis.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment
• Demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the QA (Quality Assurance) process and essential quality service standards
• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors
