Riverview Health & Rehab Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work on-site in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. The role focuses on compassionate care for seniors under nursing supervision, including bathing, grooming, and basic monitoring of vital signs in a rehabilitation and long‑term care setting.

Qualified CNAs should have a Michigan CNA certification, current CPR, and prior experience in long-term care or a similar environment.

• Must be certified as CNA through the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, and assisting with height/weight measurements.
• Monitor patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Ensure patient comfort by responding to calls, transporting patients, and reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with height and weight measurements
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output information
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be certified as CNA through the State of Michigan
• Current CPR certification
• Prefer one (1) year experience in long-term care or similar setting
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication, and communicate effectively with supervisor, staff members and other departments
