Job summary

The Rivers of Grosse Pointe Woods - Independent Living is seeking an Activities Aide (Part Time) to join a team dedicated to enriching residents' daily lives. You will coordinate life enrichment programs and support activity directors in delivering engaging events for seniors.

Responsibilities include leading activities, maintaining records, and ensuring residents' comfort and dignity while upholding quality service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• One year job-related experience preferred in senior living communities.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining balanced resident-centered activities and life enrichment programs.
• Complete attendance and participation records for activities in a timely manner.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy and dignity; interact with warmth and respect.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA processes and quality service standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
