Job summary

WellBridge of Rochester Hills is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver life enrichment programs and promote a positive environment for guests and families. The role focuses on crafts, games, and activities that support health and wellbeing.

Starting wages are $15.15 per hour with $0.85 hero pay and potential wage increases; part-time weekends available. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, 401k, and generous holiday pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, life enrichment interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games and do crafts, this position may be for you! You will earn: $16.00 per hour to start!

• Starting wages $15.15 per hour
