Job summary

Faith Haven Senior Care Center is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs that are therapeutic and promote health and well-being. The role involves leading activities, promoting hospitality, and assisting with transportation to programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Team player, dedicated to supporting the group and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games and do crafts, this position may be for you!

You will earn: $15.35 per hour starting wages! NEW RATE!

• Starting Wages $14.50 / hour
