Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to greet shoppers, assist with bags, and help keep the store clean and welcoming throughout the shift.

You will move carts, stock shelves, and support customers in finding items, while upholding Hy-Vee's standards of service and safety.

No education or previous experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and opportunities to grow with a friendly, active team at our local Hy-Vee store.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and helping them find items.
• Package customer purchases and assist transporting them to their vehicle.
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and return them to corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; maintain organized shelves and correct shelf tags.
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver products to customers and assist in all departments as requested.
• Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to store guidelines.
