Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk who helps customers from the register to their car and keeps the store clean, stocked, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door. In this role you’ll package purchases, assist shoppers, stock shelves, manage front end supplies, and help train new courtesy clerks.

No education or prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to succeed. This position is ideal for active individuals who enjoy teamwork in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Package purchases and assist customers to their vehicle.
• Bring in carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; understand shelf tags and locations.
• Assist in other store areas and training new courtesy clerks.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and store policies.
