Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as an Active Clearance Security Officer in Boulder, CO. The role is Part-Time with a pay rate of $26.14 per hour, offering a flexible schedule and the ability to explore new roles via the Claim a Shift platform.

You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity; report anomalies.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports for site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
